GENERAL RULES APPLICABLE TO ALL TVAA FISHERIES
PLEASE NOTE: YOU CAN ONLY FISH THE WATERS THAT BELONG TO THE CLUB YOU JOINED PLUS TVAA WATERS. YOU CANNOT FISH THE PRIVATE WATERS OF OTHER CLUBS IN THE ASSOCIATION YOU ARE NOT A MEMBER OF.
- All fish are to be returned.
- No litter.
- No cutting of trees or bank side vegetation.
- No bonfires or barbeques.
- Anglers must be in possession of a current Environment Agency rod licence and abide by all EA Bye-laws
- Two rods maximum to be in use at any one time.
To prevent the spread of fish diseases, non-native fish and water organisms all anglers are requested to abide by the `Check, Clean, Dry` campaign.
NEW - SLOUGH ARM, GRAND UNION CANAL
From 16th June 2021 we can fish the Slough Arm of the GUC. There are various access points near the road bridges, but care should be taken when parking. More information to follow.

BOVENEY STREAM, ETON WICK
Both banks upstream from the Thames to the boundary of the Recreation Ground. Single bank then opposite the recreation ground and houses. The Recreation Ground side can be fished, but we have no jurisdiction over it. This stream joins up with the Roundmoor, for access see the Roundmoor map.
PARKING – Park in the recreation ground car park near Eton Wick football club.
Walk down the public footpath which runs parallel to the stream across the field.
There are two bridges across the stream close to the Thames. One of these allows access to the opposite bank.

RIVER THAMES, COOKHAM
From yacht marina upstream to the railway bridge.
PARKING – Park in public car park off B4447 or limited parking in roads in Bourne End and walk across bridge to fishery.
FISHING SPECIFIC RULES – Night fishing is permitted on this fishery. No fishing in front of cottages between Cookham Bridge and yacht marina.
POST CODE – Public car park on “The Pound”, but this is now chargeable!

RIVER THAMES, CLEWER MEADOW
PARKING – A car park is available for Association members off Meadow Lane. Combination lock number available from Association clubs.
Do not block the road as 24 hour access required by others.

Some areas have been fenced off for safety reasons. Do not fish here.

WEY NAVIGATION CANAL
From Worsfold Gates at Send to Papercourt Lock and Walsham Lock to Weybridge. Approximately 7 miles in total.
FISHING SPECIFIC RULES
- Fishing is from half an hour before sunrise until half an hour after sunset only; NO night fishing
- Fishing is 16th June to 14th March only
- All fish to be returned to the water as quickly as possible
- No vehicles on the towpath
- Any signal crayfish or Chinese mitten crabs caught must NOT be returned
- No fires or barbecues
- Do not alter the profile of the bank or cut or create any steps
- Do not obstruct the tow path
- Do not fish within 50 metres either side of any lock prior to 1st October in every season and within 10 metres at all other times from 1st Oct – 14th March.
- Do not fish between Pyrford Lock and area opposite the entrance to Pyrford Marina (Wey)
- No livebaiting for any species
- You must produce your club membership card if asked by National Trust staff.
- Coxes Mill Pond at Addlestone is a private fishery of the Byfleet Angling Association and is not included in TVAA membership.

- New Inn, Send, access to top end of Tannery stretch and New Inn stretch Broadmead lane, GU23 7AE, Limited parking on roadside, DO NOT BLOCK residents access.

WEIRS MILL STREAM, OXFORD
With the kind permission of Littlemore Angling Society, TVAA members can continue to fish their stretch at Donnington, Oxford. Approximately 1000m of Thames back stream including the weir below Donnington Road Bridge
PARKING – Restricted parking in adjacent roads as it is now ‘Residents ONLY’ parking. Parking Penalty Notices are issued for others. You can park in the nearby Park & Ride car park, a fair old walk though.
FISHING SPECIFIC RULES – Night fishing is permitted on this fishery. No night fishing near the house boats, please keep quiet.

RIVER THAMES, SANDFORD
With the kind permission of Littlemore Angling Society, TVAA anglers can now fish their stretch at Sandford, Oxon.
Do not fish below the lock in Sandford Mill Estate, fishing begins in the meadows.
Close ALL gates after you and LEAVE NO LITTER.
No night fishing
PARKING – No parking at the Kings Arms PH, Sandford.
Park in the village or on the opposite bank at Sandford Lane, Kennington (access across the bridge to the islands).
